Ladies Legal Golf Association Privacy Policy

The Ladies Legal Golf Association (LLGA) takes your privacy seriously. We shall ensure that your personal data will be used fairly and lawfully to administer the LLGA.

We adhere to the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. The legislation requires that:

  • Organisations like the LLGA need the explicit permission of each member to be able to publish a person's data such as name, phone number, postal and email address.
  • Organisations need to keep this data stored safely.
  • Organisations must not pass on any person's personal data to a third party without the express permission of the person.
  • Organisations must delete a person's data if the person requests it or the person is no longer involved with that organisation.
  • Organisations need the explicit permission for photographs to be published.

The LLGA undertakes to protect your personal data and when you agree to allow us to hold your personal data, we promise:

    • To make every effort to store it safely
    • Never to pass your personal data onto a third party unless you give us permission or ask us to do so.
    • To delete all of your personal data as soon as you ask us to do so and immediately should you cease to be a member of the LLGA unless you expressly ask us not to do so.


    The information which you provide will be used solely for the purpose of processing your application (including payment processing) and dealing with you as a member of the LLGA, including creation of a membership list with members’ contact details which will be available to all members.

    From time to time information is sent out to members regarding committee meetings and events and competitions.

    The data will not be shared with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

    However, if you feel that we should not hold your personal data it will mean that we will not be able to inform you about any LLGA business.

    By agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy you agree as follows:

    • To your name, address and telephone number being held by the LLGA 
    • To your email address being held the LLGA and circulated to members of the LLGA
    • that any photograph of you taken at an LLGA event can be published

    I have read and understood the Privacy Policy above and I give the Ladies Legal Golf Association permission to hold my personal data within the organisation and in line with all the points mentioned above.


    Use of Email Tracking Pixels

    All emails sent by the system contain a tracking pixel. This is used to track whether each email has been opened by the recipient, and when. This information can be viewed by those users of the system with permission to view email delivery reports. We do not display any information regarding the location of the recipient. Note that the tracking pixel is only activated if the recipient chooses to download images into their email client.

    Data Processor

    We, Ladies Legal Golf Association, make use of the myClubhouse software supplied by Simmetrics Ltd to process personal data we include on our myClubhouse website in accordance with our privacy policy set out above. Simmetrics Ltd processes your personal data on our behalf and they can only do so in accordance with our written instructions.
